Teddy is a stuffed bear toy gifted to Akiko by her adoptive parents. Teddy is very helpful when he wants to be, but also enjoys teasing Akiko and testing her patience. Despite this, the two really love each other.

Teddy doesn't age and is perpetually three years old; even so, he's wise beyond his years.
